Miner’s Inc. proudly celebrated the grand reopening of the Virginia South Super One Foods following the completion of a seven-month renovation project. The investment significantly enhanced the shopping experience for customers and reaffirmed Super One’s long-standing commitment to the Virginia community.
Super One Foods has proudly served Virginia, MN since 1963, when the Miner family first entered the market under the Piggly Wiggly banner. The store transitioned to the Super One Foods name in the 1980s and has remained a trusted grocery destination ever since. This latest renovation underscores over 60 years of dedication to delivering Low Prices & Better Choices to the region.
A Modern, Convenient Shopping Experience

- A full exterior refresh with new signage, paint, updated windows, and canopies
- A complete interior renovation with energy-efficient equipment, new décor, fixtures, flooring, and paint
- Upgraded departments offering more space and an expanded product selection
The remodel brought the Virginia South location in line with other modernized Super One stores across the region, including Virginia North, Hibbing, Grand Rapids, and three Super One Liquor locations.
A Celebration of Community
To commemorate the renovation, Super One Foods hosted a Grand Reopening Celebration from March 2–15. Customers enjoyed:
- Grand Opening Super Savings
